Colorado Audio Video is looking for a few self motivated, and hardworking individuals to join our team. Experience in the Audio Video Industry isn’t technically a must, but a love for the industry is. Basic understanding of speaker wiring, standard video lexicons, and in this day and age networking, is assumed. Colorado Audio Video is willing to train the right individual granted that individual displays a strong sense of work ethic and enthusiasm. Outside of that the requirements are
Must have a Valid Drivers License with CLEAN driving record. Ability to travel required
Be physically capable of performing the job. This may include holding heavy objects over the head/shoulders, climbing ladders, pulling various types of wire, terminating various types of wire, use of multiple different power tools in the mounting of equipment, and various other physically taxing work. Most of the job will be physical work.
Be required to provide their own basic tools. Full list provided at interview. 18v Set and some hand tools.
Be able to work autonomously as well as a member of a group. The ability to take direction is a must, the ability to lead will be equally important for advancement in the company.
Be presentable to Colorado Audio Video standards. If you don’t have pride in how you look, you won’t have pride in how WE look.
Be polite and act per company expectations when addressing clients. If the client has a problem, it is your problem as far as the client is concerned. You must be able to convey to the client that you will see it is taken care of personally even if you don’t currently have the answer. Customer service and taking care of our clients is our number one goal.
Some things to mention in your response if you are familiar with the industry
- Networked AV Solutions and Knowledge of Networking Concepts
- Audio DSP Platforms (Ex. QSC, Biamp) Preferred
- Control System Platforms (Ex. Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron)
- Prior Experience in Audio-Video or like Industry
- Prior Experience with Commercial and/or AV Installation
- Ability to Solder and Crimp Connectors (XLR, RJ45, TRS, BNC, and F-CONN)
- Ability to Read and Interpret Construction and AV Drawings
- CTS or CTS-I Certification Preferred
